What's A Movie

I only just started using Letterboxd again, so feel free to find me there. I'd hardly call myself film-literate, but I think I know a good story when I see one.

For now -- I just saw The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover at the Portland Art Museum, and wow was that a distressing watch. Phenomenal, but so distressing. So I guess start there.

I've also been studing for the Emerald Fennell Wuthering Heights, coming out Feb. 2026, and I suspect I will not like it. I will be obligated to watch it, bc I adore the original, but I do not trust Ms. Fennell to make a compelling adaptation. Will report back.
